Francisco Herrera Rodríguez: between science and the humanities

Abstract

The aim of this work is to analyse Las enfermedades de Sísifo, one the books written by Professor Francisco Herrera Rodríguez, due to the interest it arouses by compiling and masterfully combining the literary works of some famous authors with medicine and illnesses. The book is a constant meditation on literature, medicine and illness, as its subtitle indicates: Reflections on literature, medicine, and illness. We have chosen this book as the thread of the article to remind us of the author’s passion for science and humanities.
