Quinzena d'Art de Montesquiu (QUAM)

Resumen

La relación vertical que apareción las diversas generaciones de artistas fueron los rasgos que marcaron la evolución del arte de la segunda mitad del siglo XX en buena parte del Estado Español. La primera de estas iniciativas fue la Quinzena d'Art de Montesquiu, nacida a finales de los setenta con el regreso del exilio del pintor Josep Artistas, críticos y pensadores disfrutarían de un espacio común en el que contrastar conocimientos, gustos y opiniones. En 1989, un año después de iniciarse la nueva etapa, se organizó la exposición L'Art Esquiu con obras de los directores de taller y una selección de trabajos realizados por los alumnos.

Montesquiu Art Fortnight (QUAM)

Abstract: The vertical relationship that appeared between the various generations of artists were the features that marked the evolution of art in the second half of the 20th century in much of the Spanish State. The first of these initiatives was Montesquiu's Quinzena d'Art, born at the end of the seventies with the return from exile of the painter Josep. Artists, critics and thinkers would enjoy a common space in which to contrast knowledge, tastes and opinions. In 1989, a year after the new stage began, the exhibition L'Art Esquiu was organized with works by the workshop directors and a selection of works by the students.
