La Coral Polifónica Canticum Novum. 20 años dedicados a la transmisión de la cultura

Resumen

Es difícil pensar en pleno siglo XXI, que un grupo de personas, por la simple afición a la música y sin ninguna otra pretensión, lleve veinte años reservando parte de su tiempo a las actuaciones y como no, a sus correspondientes y constantes ensayos. Aunque pueda parecer complicado, existen numerosos grupos corales que cumplen estas características. Éste es el caso de la Coral Polifónica Canticum Novum.Pretendemos reflejar en este trabajo los hitos más importantes en la trayectoria musical de esta Coral que, en este 2.007, celebra su vigésimo aniversario. Asimismo, rendir un homenaje a una de las personas que más se implicaron en la promoción y en el reconocimiento de Canticum Novum: D. Manuel Villero Salvatierra, Presidente de la Coral (2.000-2.007), que recientemente nos dejó.   The Polyphonic Coral Canticum Novum. 20 years dedicated to the transmission of culture   Abstract: It is difficult to think in the XXI century, that a group of people, for the simple love of music and without any other pretense, has spent twenty years reserving part of their time for performances and of course, for their corresponding and constant rehearsals. Although it may seem complicated, there are numerous coral groups that meet these characteristics. This is the case of the Polyphonic Choir Canticum Novum. We intend to reflect in this work the most important milestones in the musical trajectory  of this Choir that, in 2007, celebrates its twentieth anniversary. Also, pay tribute to one of the people who was most involved in promoting and recognizing Canticum Novum: Mr. Manuel Villero Salvatierra, President of the Choir (2.000-2.007), who recently left us.
