Abstract
BREXIT AND FREEDOM OF ESTABLISHMENT FOR COMPANIES IN THE EU: THE CASE OF GIBRALTAR
ABSTRACT. This study addresses the consequences of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union on the freedom of establishment of companies based in Gibraltar, both in the field of corporate law and bankruptcy law. Brexit has a direct impact in the framework of the free provision of services by companies incorporated under English law or that of Gibraltar, in sectors such as the financial or gambling industry, affecting in a special way companies domiciled in Gibraltar.
