Abstract

"Madrid es no tener nada y tenerlo todo" Ramón Gómez de la Serna Este Madrid -acostumbrado ya a ser preolímpico- que es la capital y su entramado de juntas de distrito -ese caótico y vivo Madrid- es también, separadas por brechas más o menos pronunciadas, aunque siempre nítidas, perceptibles, las ciudades que (a su norte y noroeste) acomodan a quienes buscan mayor calidad de vida de la que ofrece la capital y, unos kilómetros más allá, también los pueblos de la sierra (la llamada "Sierra pobre" y la de Guadarrama) que reciben cada año a miles de veraneantes "con lo largo que se hace el año...", y aquellas otras ciudades -entre las que, en mayor número, se encuentran las más pobladas tras la capital- que,  en el arco que rodea a Madrid del Suroeste al Este, acogen, entre su mucha y variopinta  población, a varias generaciones ya de quienes llegaron de todas las provincias de España hace décadas.
