Abstract

The necropolis of “La Ermita del Almendral” and “Fuente de Ramos” is located in the municipal area of Puerto Serrano, in the province of Cádiz. It is a prehistoric funerary site, which is composed of tombs excavated in the rocky substrate. The importance of this archaeological site is the great symbolic impact it has had over the centuries. For this reason, the necropolis was reused and transformed many times over the years. It is now a religious centre.
