El paisaje portuario en la bahía de Cádiz a finales de la Edad Media: los muelles fluviales
Abstract
The bay of Cádiz was one of the most economically dynamic coastal areas at the end of the Middle Ages. Its commercial development can not be understood without the port and road infrastructure that allowed the interconnection between producer and mercantile spaces. In this work we will focus on the analysis of one of the least known elements of the Cadiz port landscape, the river piers. Among them, said El Portal -in the Guadalete-, mainspring export of agricultural products Jerez de la Frontera, the main producer in the region center.
