Abstract
The next article is focused in a part of the Arabic Literature, specifically the Libyan and its renaissance in the 20th century. Three genders will be tackled: poetry, narrative and theatre, through an historical review from the last 19th century up to the present, considering its protagonists and significant works in every facet and circumstance. Frequently, the Arabic literature has been analyzed as a whole, but in the last few years it is becoming more interesting to study the literature of every country by separate and not as a unique model. Studying the literature by regions conduce to conform the main parts of the whole territory in a most completely way, which represents many advantages and enrichment over comprehension and knowledge about the Arab World and its cultural diversity
