Introducción. Monográfico La gestión cultural en América Latina. Protagonizar el futuro

Resumen

En el número catorce de nuestra revista se incluyó un monográfico especial sobre Ob-servatorios Culturales. Con esta acción se ponía en práctica la idea de contar a partir de entonces con una sección que tratara con la mayor profundidad, a la vez que la mayor pluralidad posible, un tema o asunto de interés o debate. Los observatorios nos sirvieron, entre otras muchas cosas, para redescubrir y tomar conciencia de los numerosos puntos de contacto entre la realidad de América Latina con la realidad española y europea en general del ámbito de la gestión cultural. No se puede negar que en los últimos años ha existido un flujo constante de ideas, conceptos y experiencias entre ambas orillas del océano. Son ya bastantes los profesionales y expertos españoles que han mantenido contactos regulares con los diversos países de América Latina, y viceversa. La presencia de profesores y ponentes de ambos espacios en los respectivos masteres y postgrados es una constante y una realidad aceptada como normal y sin duda enriquecedora. Sin embargo, desde Periférica, somos conscientes que la realidad de la América Latina es enormemente heterogénea y que de un país a otro, de una región a otra, nos encontramos con una diversidad enriquecedora y con hibridaciones y mestizajes igualmente ricos y ejemplares.   Abstract: In number fourteen of our magazine a special monograph on Cultural Observatories was included. With this action the idea of ​​counting from then with a section that dealt with the greatest depth, as well as the greatest plurality possible, a topic or matter of interest or debate. The observatories helped us, among manyother things, to rediscover and become aware of the many points of contact between the reality of Latin America with the Spanish and European reality in general in the field of cultural management. It cannot be denied that in recent years there has been a constant flow of ideas, concepts and experiences between both shores of the ocean. There are already enough Spanish professionals and experts who have maintained regular contacts with the various Latin American countries, and vice versa. The presence of professors and speakers from both spaces in the respective master's and postgraduate degrees is a constant and a reality accepted as normal and undoubtedly enriching. However, from Peripheral, we are aware that the reality of Latin America is enormously heterogeneous and that from one country to another, from one region to another, we find an enriching diversity and equally rich and exemplary hybrids and crossbreeds.   Artículo recibido: 18/02/2014.
