Abstract

El otro planeta azul, hogar de todos, testigo onnipresente de civilizaciones y barbaries busca aun la justicia y la paz. En este cruce de caminos está el ser humano que, por naturaleza, ama la vida y añora el bienestar. La globalización neoliberal imperante, que genera pobreza y exclusión, tiene su contraparte esencial en el uso de las identidades como demostración de la diversidad del ser y su derecho a la vida y la creación, sin limitaciones externas a su conciencia y sensibilidad; pero con marcada vocación de universalidad e intercambio cultural. Organizaciones como la UNESCO han hecho aportes sustantivos, en la última década, sobre este problema.

At the crossroads of two centuries and millennia

Abstract: The once blue planet, home to all, omnipresent witness of civilizations and barbarism still seeks justice and peace. At this crossroads is the human being who, by nature, loves life and longs for well-being. The prevailing neoliberal globalization, which generates poverty and exclusion, has its essential counterpart in the use of identities as a demonstration of the diversity of being and their right to life and creation, without external limitations to their conscience and sensitivity; but with a marked vocation for universality and cultural exchange. Organizations such as UNESCO have made substantive contributions, in the last decade, on this problem.
