Résumé

La aparición del gestor cultural no se entiende sin echar un vistazo a la evolución del término cultura. En la Modernidad, cuando cultura significaba tradición artística e intelectual, no había nada que gestionar. Hoy, en plena Posmodernidad, cuando el término es también sinónimo de espectáculo, de costumbres y de folclore, la cultura no es nada sin alguien que la gestione.   Palabras clave: tradición, cultura, identidad, pueblos, pedagogía.   Abstract: The appearance of the cultural manager cannot be understood without taking a look at the evolution of the term culture. In Modernity, when culture meant artistic and intellectual tradition, there was nothing to manage.
