Abstract
A text reflecting the investiture ceremony of D. Francisco Giles Pacheco as Doctor Honoris Causa by the University of Cadiz is presented for the NEWS section. It succinctly sets out the development of the events that took place on 4 November 2022 and a balance of the laudatio of Professor Dr. José Ramos Muñoz, the investiture speech of the Doctor Honoris Causa, D. Franisco Giles Pacheco and the speech of the Rector of the University of Cadiz, Dr. Francisco Piniella Corbacho.
