Technology and diacritic schemas as analysis methodology: el Cortijo del Calvillo in Fuente Camacho (Loja, Granada)

Abstract

his poster presents a technological analysis of the whole lithic collection from el Cortijo del Calvillo  in  Fuente  Camacho  (Loja,  Granada),  methodologically  based  on  technical  reading  of  the operating sequences through diacritic schemas which lead us understand the knapping techniques and methods  for  the  elaboration  of  the  assemblage.  The  Middle-Upper  Acheulean  industries.  So,  this analysis is the first study that uses this methodology for Lower Paleolithic in southern Iberia.
