Abstract
In Russian literature, medieval literature is very little know, not only in Spain, but also in Russia itself, since is written in Church Slavonic, or at times in hybrid languages, mixtures of liturgical and everyday forms. Whatever the case, such languages are very different from present day Russian, and therefore difficult for the common folk to understand. In medieval Russian litera ture arabicisms, in large measure obsolete, are frequently found, some of which are studied and dis cussed in the present article.
