Abstract

Today it is difficult to attract young people to reading. The number of stimuli that new generations are subjected to with social networks makes it extremely difficult to train readers. However, the use of dynamic methodologies and the programming of attractive activities for students can be of great help. In this sense, the objective of this work is to present a didactic proposal for the training of readers through the Harry Potter saga, which is widely received by young readers around the world. In addition to analyzing the conditions that make this saga so successful among the youth population, emphasis will be placed on how to carry out adequate reading training and a didactic proposal about Harry Potter will be included in the Primary Education classroom.
