Abstract
Most of the basic terms of journalism and the most often used words for titles of publications in Spain emerged in a consolidation phase of the profession, but also of the informative business, that includes from the Age of Enlightenment to the beginning of the liberal regime, that is to say, about two thirds of the century. We will examine how some of the most outstanding terms in those years appear and evolve.
