Abstract
A critical vision is offered in this work on the image of the French and the English in the Spanish political theater during the years of the War of Independence. On these plays, the writers do not hesitate to portray the French as representatives of the forces of evil while the Spanish cause receives divine protection. With an opposed sense, nevertheless it appears the image of the English.
