Since 2013, the journal has incorporated INTERNACIONAL (International) into its title, as it has been funded by the Cultural Observatory of the Atalaya Project (the General Secretariat of the Universities of the Junta de Andalucía and the ten public universities of Andalucía).
PERIFéRICA is an initiative that springs from southern Europe with the aim of providing peripheral views on socio-cultural phenomena.
PERIFéRICA is necessary because both workers and volunteers for culture tend to be peripheral with regards to their uses and attitudes, and they must regain a main role.
PERIFéRICA is, in essence, a space to discuss, reason and debate all these matters.
The PERIFéRICA journal is an annual publication which publishes an issue every January.
PERIFéRICA counts on the collaboration of external reviewers who are not part of its editorial team.
