Una ciudadanía responsable en el contexto de la globalización

Abstract

Los seres humanos, en los inicios del siglo XXI, vivimos en eso que se denomina como la globalización. Esta nueva, era tiene como uno de sus efectos más logrados, contribuir al fomento de una realidad social en la que siguen no solo existiendo sino aumentando el numero de seres humanos que tienen escasas posibilidades y oportunidades de mejorar sus condiciones de vida. La globalización produce un aumento de las distancias y de los niveles de desigualdad social a nivel global, manteniendo y creando zonas pobres y periféricas, también en el corazón de las grandes ciudades, países y regiones más ricos. Ellas albergan a los excluidos.

Responsible citizenship in the context of globalization

Abstract:Human beings, at the beginning of the 21st century, we live in what is called
globalization. This new era has as one of its most successful effects, to contribute to
the promotion of a social reality in which they continue not only to exist but also to
increase the number of human beings who have few possibilities and opportunities to
improve their living conditions. Globalization produces an increase in distances and
levels of social inequality at a global level, maintaining and creating poor and
peripheral areas, also in the heart of the big cities, richest countries and regions.
They house the excluded.
