El antiguo campo del Mirandilla (1933)
Abstract
The Mirandilla field, officially Campo de Deportes Mirandilla, was the football stadium of Cádiz for twenty-two years, from August 1933 to August 1955. It was the playing field of the city's first team, Mirandilla F. C., which in 1936 changed its name to Cádiz F. C. It was located on Avenida 14 de Abril, later renamed Ana de Viya, right next to the bullring. Throughout its twenty-two years of existence, Campo del Mirandilla witnessed the growth of Mirandilla F. C. as the representative team of Cádiz, experiencing rapid advancement: from playing in the Regional League to the Second Division in 1935.
