Santos. Un docuexpress

Abstract

Documentary filmmaking in documentary format becomes even more expressive, if possible, with the haste of making it in express format. To this end, the Alcances festival in Cádiz itself has a modality that includes and welcomes it. To demonstrate the power of the striking image, we use the work "Santos" (2022) directed by Víctor Martínez. In little more than four and a half minutes, the voice of the protagonist echoes in a desacralised space that, being a hairdressing salon, is wrapped in saints and legacies of a very personal baroque. However, the creative work is nourished by the transcription of the locution that helps us to visualise this very personal universe that seduces and persuades.
