Abstract
Tras el Real Decreto de 9 de abril de 1886, se oficializó y dio forma al asociacionismo empresarial español. El análisis del proceso fundacional de una de estas entidades en el exterior, como es el caso de la Cámara de Comercio española en Uruguay, mostrará el funcionamiento y actividad de la misma, así como dará a conocer a los actores sociales intervinientes en dicho proceso.
