Abstract
Abstract: The figure of the leader of the Algerian resistance in the nineteenth century against the French invaders, ˁAbd al-Qādir al-Jazāˀirī, is very well known for his political and military activity. However, he also had a literary and religious dimension we try to analyze and emphasize in the present article, including a translation of ten of his poems.
