Abstract

“The epistle of dreams premonitions by Muḥyī d-Dīn ibn al- Arabī: edition and study of an unpublished text”. The importance of this text is primarily considered as an epilogue of Muḥyī d-Dīn ibn al- Arabī’s works. The text focuses on the meanings of “expression” or “interpretation” of dream’s images, which are tied, in the author’s conception, to the power of imagination, on the one hand, and to the ideal world, on the other. Therefore, we find here significant parallels between material world and the dream’s world, this parallelism, which allows Ibn al-ˀArabī to interpret images represented in the dreams, and search for their meaning, which belongs obviously to the spiritual, not the material world.
