Abstract
Biografía del místico y asceta sufí del siglo XIV ابن عاشر Ibn ˁĀšir, nacido en Jimena de la Frontera, que vivió en Algeciras y emigró a Salé, donde llegó a convertirse en el máximo exponente de la santidad. Se mencionan escritos con su semblanza y relaciones personales con figuras cumbre de la cultura y la política de su época, como el literato y político granadino ابن الخطيب Ibn al-Ḫaṭīb, el místico y su discípulo ابن عباد الرندي Ibn ˁAbbād de Ronda o el sultán marroquí أبو عنان Abū ˁInān.
