Abstract
The Qawānīn of Ibn Juzayy, a mālikī jurist, contain very precise opinions of the main jurists concerning consumption and penalty of spirits. Always starting from the norms adopted in the mālikī doctrine, Ibn Juzayy stablishs the common points and the differences between this doctrine and the others, avoiding to be polemic. All the islamic jurists are in agreement in a fundamental point, i.e. to forbit the fermenting grape juice (the wine or khamr).
