The National Union of Algerian Women: mass women's organization
Info
Abstract
The National Union of Algerian Women is an association created by the National Libera tion Front (FLN) to spread its ideology among the female population. Because of its total dependence on the FLN, this organization has been unable to effectively achieve its primary goal, to foment the participation of women government, industry and cultural activities. Until now, the National Union of Algerian Women has not managed to truly represent the women of the country because it has been restricted exclusively to social activities.
