Abstract
"The Vikings in al-Andalus". The Vikings arrived in Spain as warriors and slave traders. They established themselves within the Christian and Andalusi society and reached top political positions. In some cases they became kings of certain Taifa Kingdoms. They dispersed and vanished in the Christian Kingdoms but kept partially their ethnic entity and culture in Southern Spain.
