Abstract
"Ibn al-Jaṭīb and his work A'māl al-'alām. Written sources and historiographical assessment". After giving some biographical informations about the Andalusian author Ibn al-Jaṭīb, this study presents a list of the written sources which he used for the composition of his A'māl al-'alām. Furthermore this study underlines the documental value of the text and introduces some historiographical problems.
