Abstract
The classification of Amazigh (Berber) varietics has been the object of interest for scholars in this language from the outset, albeit with incomplete results. This article presents a classification outline which takes into consideration the language variants of the Amazige whole. using morphological and lexical criteria. Thus, the deicties, verb morphology, the initial nominal vowel or the realisation of certain phonemes clearly allows the regrouping of Amazigh varieties on the basis of common characteristics. This outline intends to show that through the multiplication of criteria as well as an extended the scope of the research, facilitates a more precise grouping and perhaps allows a diachronic classification.
