Abstract
La biografía de Mercedes Formica nos permite profundizar en la Historia de España del siglo XX, más concretamente en el panorama sociocultural y la situación jurídica de las mujeres. En este artículo analizamos, a través de un recorrido biográfico,las aportaciones de la escritora y abogada gaditana, muy especialmente en la mejora de la situación jurídica de las mujeres en España durante la dictadura franquista.
