Interconnectivity and isolation in times of pandemic

Abstract

This contribution summarizes the works comprises in the book Voci nel silenzio. La comunicacione al tempo del Coronavirus. Throughout its 13 chapters, this book deals with different topics on communication in the pandemic: data are offered and reflections are made on the crisis from the social sciences, showing the evidence collected by researchers. The analysis contribute to the study of the confrontation between isolation and connection, information contamination and the development of narratives of social actors when fear and change knock on our doors.
