Abstract
El artículo ce centra en dos aspectos esenciales. Por una parte, analiza la división judicial de al-Andalus en época almorávide, y hace hincapié en la posición de la zona de El Levante dentro de esta división, así como sus características judiciales que la diferenciaron del resto de al-Andalus. Y por la otra, trata los mecanismos de la relación predominantes entre el poder político y el poder judicial levantino y sus consecuencias.
