Abstract
A través de la biografía de Ibn ˁAbbās, secretario de Zuhayr, señor de Almería, este artículo trata de describir el esfuerzo llevado a cabo por el grupo de antiguos mawālī ˁāmiríes de origen eslavo para influir el curso de los acontecimientos en el Levante andalusí a principios de época taifa. La muerte de Ibn ˁAbbās, uno de los instigadores de dicha política agresiva respecto a otras Taifas coincide así, simbólicamente, con el fracaso de este esfuerzo y el fin de un ciclo histórico abierto por la regencia ˁāmirí.
