The education system in independent Algeria: Structure and problems

Abstract
This study analyses the educational policy of the Algerian State from the Independence in 1962 to nowadays. The major difficulties that he had to deal with are: Deficiency of state's infrastructures and the lack of professors, the demographic growth, the high illeteracy rate and the introduction of Arabic language in education.
