Abstract
More and more institutions are highlighting the natural, social and cultural values of traditional peri-urban agricultural areas, while at the same time denouncing the constant decrease in their surface area. This, together with the relevant role of education in the transition towards sustainability, reaffirms the idea that administrations should generate strategies to disseminate the importance of these traditional agricultural landscapes and bring them closer to the population. This research aims to describe and compare the resources and didactic materials available to the public administration related to the agricultural landscapes of the Mexican Milpa and the Valencian Huerta. A review and content analysis of the information present in the electronic portals of local administrations was carried out. In spite of the educational potential of the Huerta and the Milpa, the resources and didactic materials that the administrations have do not correspond to the importance of the economic, environmental and cultural values that they possess.
