Abstract
Approach to the rural Jerez area in the Middle Age: The hamlet of Margalihud". The study of the organization of the rural Jerez area in Islamic times takes us, as a result of nonexis tence of the book of rustic "Repartimiento", to the location and to the study of the great number of the hamlets that were located in its term, via other written and archaeological sources, structures, ways of life, etc., and their interconnection with the central city: Jerez.
