Abstract
En este artículo se reconstruye el mundo del libro entre la aristocracia y la burguesía gaditana del siglo XVIII y de comienzos del XIX, evocando las figuras de los principales bibliófilos y coleccionistas de libros de la ciudad, en relación con los cambios en los hábitos de lectura asociados a la Ilustración. Se estudian las bibliotecas públicas y privadas más destacables, el impacto de la lectura de prensa, etc.Keywords
