Abstract
En el presente artículo hemos intentado comentar los aspectos más destacables de la Revista del Guadalete (publicada en Jerez de la Frontera entre los años 1858 y 1862). Podemos destacar el contexto histórico, el comentario de la importante figura deleditor, las diferentes publicaciones consultadas por el susodicho, las dos grandes líneas editoriales (dogmática y crítica) y la reseña de los columnistas más destacados. Aunque no se comentan todos los articulistas dignos de mención, sí están presentes aquellos que dejan una huella indeleble en el lector de la publicación.
