Count of Aranda’s supervision in the construction Epila’s (Zaragoza) parish church
Abstract
Epila’s (Zaragoza) parish church construction was a long process that needed more 70 years to finish. There was many causes, mainly, financing troubles which forced to search new measures to get funds. In last quarter of 18th. Century, after Count of Aranda’s license, the church showed a great increase by the Agustin Sanz’s supervision, Ventura Rodriguez’s pupil, who was parallel working for the Count in other temples placed in the «Bajo Aragon» region (Teruel), territory that also was under Count’s authority.
