Microscopio de Leeuwenhoek

Abstract

Leeuwenhoek's microscope
Frequently Science and Technique go together. Almost all scientific advances have been the result of new technical advances. This is particularly illustrative with regard to the knowledge of the cell. The cellular theory was known thanks to a series of scientific discoveries that were bound to the improvement in the quality of the microscopes. One of the pioneers in the study of the microscopic world was Anton van Leeuwenhoek (1632- 1723). The experiment of Biology that we present consists in manufacturing a simple microscope, similar to the one made by Leeuwenhoek in the 17th century. With this microscope we have observed onion epidermal cells and blood cells.
