Abstract
Using still-life paintings from Spanish and Flemish Baroque period, this educative experience, incorporated to Biology and Geology, a scientific subject in Spanish Higher Education, wants to teach the species identification, scientific nomenclature and the symbology that most of these paintings express, through the project methodology.Keywords
