Abstract
The generic title “reflections on ITC from the perspective of the library” is a conscientious and present time reflexion in which we shall analyse some of the keys ofinformation and communication technology, digital reading, from a librarian’s perspective. We shall highlight, amongst other issues, ubiquitous mobility, big data, the concentration of power in the hands of a few, essential digital identity, and the need for constant learning.
