Abstract
Throughout the works compiled in this monograph, notable progress is observed at both the conceptual and empirical levels, enriching our understanding of equitable and sustainable development from a transregional perspective. One of its main contributions lies in integrating voices from Latin America and Europe that, rather than reproducing established models, dare to question the foundations of the current development paradigm. The texts presented here address key issues such as community sense, the digital divide, universal accessibility, gender equality in technology, and new organizational forms emerging outside traditional economic frameworks, such as the Fourth Sector. In doing so, the monograph articulates lines of analysis that transcend territorial and disciplinary boundaries, revealing how structural problems—such as territorial inequality, technological exclusion, or the erosion of democratic trust—manifest in diverse ways yet share common roots. This convergence opens the possibility of strengthening interregional cooperation, an essential element for building pathways toward a more just and sustainable development.
