Abstract
The Memorial literario, one of the most important journals of the Enlightenment, was first published in 1784 under the reign of Charles III. Although it suffered several interruptions, it was published until the end of 1808. In this article, we will focus on the analysis of the last few numbers of this newspaper (October 10th - November 20th, 1808), which were published during the Independence War. This study includes the edition of these numbers of the Memorial literario (Collection of the Library of Thomas J. Dodd Research Center, University of Connecticut), since they are unknown to us.
