Analysis Methodology for Hybrid Texts: Ceremony, Classification of Legal-wine Texts and their Teaching Potential in the Translation Classroom

Abstract
The current work focuses on hybrid texts given their presence within the professional practice of translation and its teaching particularly, and society in general. We also demonstrate their didactic utility and the need for a method that enables their analysis for subsequent translation. Firstly, we review the literature available on hybrid texts, their definition, and analysis. To this end, we carry out an analysis of texts according to their function and scope, perspectives that result in very limited, closed, and not very useful classifications. Later on, we analyze texts according to their ceremony, an approach that gives a new dimension by including socioprofessional and sociocommunicative aspects. From this point of view, legal-wine texts are studied, whose relevance is proved, and their classification is offered. Finally, we provide the analysis of a European Union Regulation on wine following the methodology outlined before.
