Enriched reading in Spanish and in a foreign language (English and French) through QR codes

Abstract

New technologies have become a valuable resource in all areas and educational stages causing changes in the system, especially methodological level. This chapter aims to provide guidelines that serve as a guide for teachers for use QR codes with a dual purpose. On the one hand, it tries to arouse interest in reading in Primary and Secondary Education students both in the educational center and outside. On the other hand, it aims to favour a methodology that offers students an enriched and reticular reading where they can select the content and information they want to expand and even allow them to carry out their own reading itinerary. After a brief explanation about the creation and use of QR codes, examples will be given on how to promote their integration into texts and books in both Spanish and foreign languages.
