Contributions of social work to national reconciliation

Abstract

The text seeks to highlight the use of theoretical, conceptual and methodological tools specific to social work, as well as socio-political contributions in the context of the implementation of the agreement to end the conflict and build a stable and lasting peace between the Colombian Government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). In the document, we can identify the theoretical and methodological skills that, from the perspective of social work, enable professionals to construct critical analyses of the national socio-political reality and generate proactive contributions for its transformation. Likewise, it seeks to position the work of social workers within the framework of a scenario of national reconciliation.
