Funding
Authors must declare any financial assistance, public or private, received to carry out their research. This obligation includes funding for data collection and analysis, interpretation of results, or the writing of the text itself. When submitting, it is necessary to detail the name of the funding entity, the identification number of the grant, and the exact role played by that institution (e.g., in the design of the study or in the review of the article). If the entity did not participate in the execution of the work, this must also be specifically clarified.
To comply with this requirement, the information must be recorded in two places: first, in the metadata of the submission, completing the ‘Supporting agencies’ section with the full reference of the project; and second, within the article itself, in a final section called ‘Funding’ located just before the bibliography.
