Abstract
This article analyses responsible and sustainable consumption habits from a gender perspective in the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha. The aim of the study is to identify the consumption habits of women in this territory, as well as to examine the behaviours and motivations related to sustainable consumption. To this end, a 37-question survey was distributed to women over 18 years of age in this territory between 14 September and 19 November 2024. The sample consisted of 432 women between the ages of 18 and 70. The importance of this research is justified by the need for gender-disaggregated data analysis, in addition to the fact that women show a greater predisposition to responsible consumption for personal, social and environmental reasons. Among the main results, there are significant differences between habits and attitudes according to age, with those over 29 years of age showing the most responsible and sustainable behaviour.
